From 6.50 to 7.35 A.M. on the morning of 8th to 10th May, 2018, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department of the east campus convened the class situation analysis meeting concerning the current graduating classes. The meetings were presided over by Junior High Deputy Director Wang Shengxiang. Also in attendance were Principal Assistant Lu Dan, Vice Director Hu Sen and all the subject teachers from the 9th grade.
Initially at the beginning of the meeting, each head teacher proceeded the overall analysis towards the simulation test of the Senior High School Entrance Exam, summarized the first-round review work as well as reflected on the deficiencies of the review job in the previous stage.
In addition, each discipline teacher positioned their subject scores in the simulation test according to the class, school and city levels. Not only were they practical and realistic to carry through thorough analysis of the problems and situation faced by their respective subjects, but also conducted scientific arrangements regarding the review tasks in the next round.
Moreover, Vice Director Wang Shengxiang requested all the teachers to find the correct position, set clear objectives and endeavor to improve each student’s performance to the full extent during the exam preparation stage.
Finally, Principal Assistant Lu Dan made requirements for the teachers from the 9th grade in four aspects as follows: first, find the problems in the Model Test One and solve them with pragmatic approaches. Second, establish accurate goals to position students’ marks following the principle of ‘Excellent Training of Top Students, Elevation of Average Students and No Giving Up on Underachievers’. Third, meticulously and thoroughly implement the work assignments in the 9th grade in the last stage in accordance with the school policies and guidelines both from teaching to management and from grades to publicity work. Fourth, build confidence, rely on the team power, practise daily education and teaching pragmatically, choose excellence from excellence, get rid of negative emotions and try the utmost to create glories in the 2018 Senior High School Entrance Examination.
To sum up, this meeting played a positive role in enabling teachers from the 9th grade to realize the historical significance of Senior High School Entrance Examination, understand their missions and face up to reality bravely.
